Politis Communications, a public relations and strategic communications agency, today announced the promotion of Russell Page to consultant and Curtis Gasser to senior account executive. Both Page and Gasser have been with Politis Communications since January 2003. Page has been an account executive with the agency since March 2005 and Gasser since September 2004.
They will both continue to work with primarily technology-related accounts including HandHeld Entertainment (OTC BB: HNDH) and PC Laptops for Page and Cirque and COLT Technologies for Gasser. They will also continue to assist in developing new business opportunities for the agency and training junior agency personnel.
“Page has continuously accelerated our growth in new forms of media and Gasser is a fantastic writer,” said David Politis, president of Politis Communications. “They both have a proven knowledge and understanding of how the proper implementation of public relations and communications strategy can benefit our clients.”
While working for Politis Communications, Page has generated media coverage for clients in such media outlets as CNN, New York Times, Live! With Regis and Kelly, Rolling Stone, Teen People, The Wall Street Journal and Time Magazine, among others. He has also planned and implemented press tours, speaking engagements, and trade show appearances, as well as provided overall strategic direction and consulting for his clients.
During his time at Politis Communications, Gasser has garnered media coverage for his clients in print, broadcast and online media outlets around the world such as Entrepreneur magazine, Fortune Small Business, NBC 5, The New York Times and USA Today, among others. He was also awarded a 2004 PRSA/IABC Golden Spike Award.
Page graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in business.
Gasser graduated cum laude from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in communications, with an emphasis in public relations and a minor in public management.
