Stuffpit.com is a revolutionary new social shopping network and price comparison site, that lets you recommend, compare and review products you have purchased online, or think others would like, and share them with your friends and family as well as the entire Stuffpit community. Recommendations are influenced by the community as opposed to advertising spend therefore the website provides scope for smaller, independent retailers to compete with larger national retailers to market their products.
Stuffpit also offers a unique feature, where members of the Stuffpit community will earn commission from recommending product that are bought by others. The facility works when a member adds a product to be reviewed, subsequently every time someone buys that product they will receive a small percentage of the total sale price.

Stuffpit is a new product from Jeff's company Power Up Technologies, which also operates Edinburgh based mobile phone comparison site, PowerUpMobile.com who specialise in comparing contract and sim free deals on PDA's (Personal Digital Assistant), smartphones and high end mobile phones, mobile broadband, netbooks and sat nav systems to both consumers and businesses. Effectively, both products generated from Power Up Technologies can save consumers money through the recommendation and comparison process, which is highly beneficial in the current economic climate.
Up to now the site has attracted over 300 members who have added over 800 products from over 100 retailers to rate, compare, review, shop and share including books, music, DVD's, gifts, gadgets, sports equipment, clothing, even financial products like insurance, loans and bank accounts. There are posting rules to protect everyone and to ensure the site is used correctly, not abused and ensure good content. The site also allows online retailers to promote their products free of charge.
