After reviewing 400 case studies from 205 agencies, the COI chose just eight agencies to serve the South West of England region. Now MAXX and its partner Resonates will provide a complete marketing and design service as part of COI’s Regional Integrated Agency Framework, which gives government departments and public sector organisations access to agencies with local insight into their markets.
The ability to deliver this complete service is one of the reasons why COI chose MAXX Design. Together with Resonates, MAXX can offer a broad mix of advertising, direct mail, design and branding, digital media and PR services. The two agencies have already worked on a number of projects together, for local organisations including Jones Robinson, West Berkshire Mencap, WRVS, NHS Education South Central, Chesham Building Society and Bracknell-based BSRIA.
Catherine Jenkins, business development director at MAXX Design, commented, “We are absolutely thrilled that we will be putting our skills into practice for COI’s clients in the South West of England. MAXX is the only agency selected for the region that is based in Berkshire, so we are really putting Newbury on the map! COI has selected us on the basis of our expertise in graphic, web design and marketing but they have also recognised that we find creative solutions for our clients that meet their business objectives and strategies.”
Based in Newbury, UK, MAXX Design (maxx-design.co.uk) offers complete integrated marketing communications for businesses: graphic design, branding, website development, SEO and online marketing, SERM, direct marketing, public relations, advertising and strategic planning.
Resonates (resonates.com) is a marketing communications company based in Newbury, Berkshire, that specialises in engaging local audiences and promoting green brands, products and companies. Resonates trains its consultants to ensure they have the expert PR, direct marketing, copywriting and marketing research skills needed to help clients meet their promotional objectives in the most effective ways possible.
The Central Office of Information – COI – maintains and uses around 30 world-class frameworks of suppliers which are the 'best of the best'; taking into account the anticipated needs of COI and its government and public sector clients. COI Regional CAT acts as the front door to all COI's services. Located in Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Leeds, Regional CAT develops briefs in partnership with regional clients to ensure they have access to the most appropriate communications solutions. This can result in the work being passed to one of COI's specialist departments or the most appropriate agency. In each region, experienced account managers ensure that messages are relevant to local audiences.
