The wireless technology industry in South Korea has been leading the global TMT (Technology, Media, Telecom) sector and is at the center of the evolution of broadband and mobile. Due to Korea’s mobile infrastructure, global mobile players consider it as an early adapter for mobile technology and other businesses.
Recently Apple has broken revenue records despite worldwide economic turmoil, signifying a new milestone for the company as a whole. Meanwhile, its App Store has marked a milestone of its own – it served its one-billionth app on April 23, 2009. With this progress and the increasing number of users of smart phones, the future of mobile content markets has huge growth potential. As a result, global mobile players are now turning to focus on the issues of a mobile application’s ‘usability’, ‘recreation’, and ‘convenience’ with a profit-return structure.
The 4th anniversary of the Mobile Content 2009 Conference & Awards will be held from September 9-10 at DMC (Digital Media Center) in Seoul, Korea. The Awards will show the most innovative and creative mobile content and the clear direction of the future of the mobile content business.
