Intuition, a leading provider of learning services to the financial markets, life sciences and public sector, today announced that it has partnered with A & C Black, a subsidiary of Bloomsbury Publishing. Under the terms of the partnership agreement, Intuition will distribute Business: The Ultimate Resource – a business reference guide – through its award winning mobile learning solution.
The partnership presents A & C Black with the opportunity to market its content to a wider audience and Intuition with the opportunity to enhance its mobile offering of eLearning, podcast and video to its existing client, carrier and reseller channels. “The partnership with A & C Black is an exciting new venture for Intuition.” said Keith O’Loughlin, Head of Technology Services at Intuition. “It will enable us to extend the reach of our mobile learning solution to new audiences, as well as offering a new value-added service to our existing client base.”
Business: The Ultimate Resource is a one-stop shop for practical solutions, advice from leading experts and authors and essential business information. The content can be used as a quick reference guide for “everything you ever wanted to know about business but were too afraid to ask”. Content includes best practice essays, management checklists and action lists, management library and business information sources. There is also a business dictionary containing over 7,000 jargon-free definitions of difficult terms and concepts.
Intuition’s mobile learning solution was developed to extend the reach of learning to the mobile workforce. The solution delivers learning and knowledge to handheld devices, such as BlackBerry, iPhone and Windows Mobile and can be used to create and deliver short courses, assessments, surveys and spotlights. Content can be downloaded in multiple formats, including eLearning, podcast and video.
The solution is scalable to tens of thousands of users. It facilitates learning on the move, such as when travelling on business, even when offline or with low connectivity. Intuition’s technology also records learner progress directly to the organization’s central learning management system when connectivity is restored.
