A new online Custom Label Service from Graphic Products provides a convenient label design and ordering service available to customers 24-7.
“What the Custom Label Service provides is the unique advantage of three-color labels. Most online commercial label printers do not offer this feature, and that’s what makes the Custom Label Service so appealing to customers,” said Steve Hudgik, internet marketing manager at Graphic Products. “We strive to fulfill our customer’s custom labeling needs any way we can, and this new, flexible online service opens it wide up to them.”
The Graphic Products Custom Label Service provides the four most popular label styles and six types of headers: danger, warning, caution, notice, safety, and biohazard.
Four different label types are available to choose from: three-color, three-year indoor labels; three-color, five-year indoor/outdoor labels; two-color, five-year indoor/outdoor labels; and two-color custom labels.
Once the label type is selected, the Label Designer Control Panel guides customers through the following steps:
1. Choose Label Design (select layout and choice of header)
2. Choose Label Size (depending on label design choice, anywhere between 2” to 9” widths)
3. Input Text (type label message, and use sliders to adjust text size, text alignment, and boundary box around text)
4. Choose a Symbol (select from a wide range of commonly-used safety symbols)
5. Adjust Symbol (use sliders to adjust size and alignment)
A label preview to the right of the Label Designer Control Panel shows how the label will appear when printed, and the label preview is updated each time a design change is made during the online custom label design process.
“The Custom Label Service is not about selecting from a set of templates and pre-printed labels. It is about the customer taking control and designing the labels they need—quickly and easily—and then returning to the website to use the service as often as they need to,” said Hudgik.
The Custom Label Service is ideal for:
● Small or large organizations in need of a smaller quantity of customized labels;
● Making labels outside the size range of the label and sign printer a customer may already own;
● Making the exact label and sign designs rather than settling for bulk pre-printed labels;
Orders submitted through Graphic Products’ Custom Label Service by 10 am. PT Monday – Friday are shipped the same day. Orders submitted after 10 a.m. are shipped the following business day.
