Starting today, Gray Line Australia is toppling foreign language barriers by introducing advanced GPS audio tour systems (TriggerPOINT) by AudioConexus on its Great Ocean Road Tours in Melbourne, Victoria. As part of the first phase of the project, Gray Line Australia, utilizing satellite (GPS) technology, is telling compelling stories to connect foreign language visitors to the people, places and events that have shaped Australia’s unique history and modern culture. Providing fun, entertaining, and educational audio tours on its motor coaches, passengers using small wireless receivers and headsets are provided with more meaningful and memorable visitor experiences.

The GPS audio tour system designed for Gray Line Australia is a location based (GPS) triggered, wireless tour entertainment solution offering multilingual tour commentary delivered simultaneously to foreign language passengers throughout the Great Ocean Road Tour. This portable GPS Tour solution has been configured to accommodate luxury motor coaches in six languages – with the first phase of the project providing Japanese and Mandarin audio tours. In addition to providing a fun and informative tour experience, the system also reduces driver training time and promotes safer driving.
