Done Events, the organizers of Chicago, the first Broadway musical to come to Dubai, have formed a strategic partnership with Tiara Residence to promote culture in the community. Tiara Residence has signed on as the title sponsor for the musical, which will take place from May 4 to 13, at the Madinat Arena.
Speaking about the sponsorship agreement, Abdullatif Al Sayegh, CEO of AMG, parent company of Done, stated: “We are pleased to welcome aboard Tiara Residence and Zabeel Investments to the Chicago team. Their vision is that culture is important to an organization and individuals, which closely matches our vision to bring quality events that promote interaction between the culture and the community.”
The Tiara Residence, part of Zabeel Investments, is a prestigious AED 2.1 billion project which also encompasses the Anantara Resort & Spa located on the right hand side of the trunk of Palm Jumeirah.
“Chicago is something new in the region and it’s a promising event. Exploring, meeting and introducing other cultures to the region is essential, and we need to always stay fresh and offer the best. We want to be associated with building an exciting environment for the people living in Dubai,” commented Mohammed Ali Al Hashimi, the Executive Chairman of Zabeel Investments.
Chicago will be the first musical flown in directly from Broadway and into Dubai. The musical has won six Tony awards since it first opened in 1996. Based on true events from the 1920s, it reflects a story of “[.], greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery, treachery”.
