The first Saturday, May 2, Champagne's Home Decor kicks off the event with a spring 2009 handbag trunk show by Judith Leiber. Judith Leiber, the American luxury brand, is synonymous with elegance, style, and sophistication. Each product is executed with meticulous attention to detail and flawless hand-craftsmanship. Leiber has re-defined the accessories category with products that are on the cutting edge of high fashion, while always remaining timeless classics. The company is known for its crystal-encrusted evening bags.
A celebrity appearance by Christina Ferrare will showcase her luxury accessories for the home on May 9. Ferrare exclusively makes her Persian turquoise jeweled frames for Champagne’s Home Décor. Champagne’s is the only store in the United States that sells these frames.
Closing the event on May 30 is actress Jane Seymour. She will exhibit her fine art and will also be signing her book. Seymour began painting over a decade ago, prompted by a period of personal challenge. Her art became the expression of a very private healing process and she emerged from this experience as an accomplished, passionate painter. Seymour is the International Ambassador for Childhelp, a national organization dedicated to the research, treatment and prevention of child abuse. During this day, 10 percent of the proceeds will go to the Childhelp organization.
This event is free to the public and attendees will enjoy music, complimentary champagne, hors d’ oeuvres, door prizes and special guest appearances.
