London, United Kingdom, 2009/04/16 - iBAHN, the worldwide leader in digital entertainment and Internet solutions for the hospitality and meeting industries, today announces that it has completed a full High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) installation at the London Marriott Twickenham.
Guests to the new hotel, which is integrated within the South Stand of the Twickenham Rugby Stadium, can now enjoy wired and wireless access in the hotel’s 156 guestrooms, including six pitch facing suites that overlook the international ground, as well as wireless access in the public areas.
The installation offers business travellers the highest standards of data security through iBAHN’s Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) solution, which eliminates the ability to steal guest data and provides total separation between different wireless users.
In addition, iBAHN offers a Virtual Private Network (VPN) certification programme and unlimited IP addresses which allows business travellers to connect easily to their own corporate network.
Paul Davies, General Manager of London Marriott Hotel Twickenham, comments: “We chose iBAHN as our HSIA partner because the brand is highly regarded in the hotel industry. As a new hotel in a very prestigious location, we needed to be sure that we had a supplier who could deliver our connectivity needs in full.”
Graeme Powell, Managing Director EMEA, iBAHN, adds: “London Marriott Hotel Twickenham offers superb facilities for business and leisure travellers. We have delivered the very best infrastructure that will provide fast, secure and trouble-free internet connectivity.”
