Jim Larsen and Pam Wilson of Resources Global Professionals will lead interactive discussions on corporate leadership’s role in creating a sustainable culture of compliance and will share best practices on how companies can make change stick during difficult economic times. They are both featured speakers at this year’s University of Minnesota HR Tomorrow Conference on April 17, 2009.

As National Director of Operations for Resources Global Professionals, Mr. Larsen helps guide direction, set practice standards, and monitor engagement risk for the audit, risk and compliance service lines of Resources Global Professionals. In this role, Mr. Larsen has worked extensively with numerous clients in helping them establish compliance processes to include the Sarbanes Oxley Act, re-engineering of audit processes, assessment of risk, and the implementation of strategic co-sourcing and risk management solutions across a variety of industries for small and large global businesses. He has led numerous seminars, workshops and speaks regularly on leadership and compliance, enterprise risk assessment, Sarbanes Oxley, internal controls and best practices, corporate governance, and internal auditing.
Prior to joining Resources, Mr. Larsen was with Cargill, Inc. for 21 years serving in a variety of management positions in human resources, internal audit, accounting, I/T, and project management.
Pam Wilson is Senior Director of Client Service for Resources Global Professionals. In addition to managing client relationships and responsibility for related projects, Ms. Wilson leads Resources’ Chicago Area Human Capital practice. She has consulted with clients in a variety of industries including financial services, manufacturing and non-profit. She has extensive experience in Human Resources and Finance & Accounting including project and change management, training & development, performance management and recruitment and audit.
Ms. Wilson is currently Co-chair of the West Suburban Interest Group of HRMAC (Human Resources Management Association of Chicago). She has facilitated Resources’ Change Management discussions and “CTAC” (Change Management) training courses. In addition, she has presented Resources “Practical Approach to Managing Change” in Chicago and Cincinnati.
Ms. Wilson is an alumnus of Deloitte & Touche, LLC in Chicago, IL and Pittsburgh, PA. She has a Masters in Business Administration with concentrations in Human Resources and Strategic Management from University of Illinois-Chicago and a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign.
