Magnolia Affairs proudly announces their first annual Administrative Professional Appreciation Day Event to be held on Monday, April 20, 2009 at the Events at Newton Square located at 230 Newton Road, Raleigh, NC.
Administrative Professionals from throughout the triangle will be pampered and entertained from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. The day will start off with registration followed by a bountiful continental breakfast for all attendees. The pampering will begin at 9:00 am where attendees will visit the vast array of vendors. They will be able to get a massage, see the latest trends in fashion accessories, learn new makeup techniques, attend a wine tasting event, learn more about organizations like the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Bubel/Aiken Foundation, plus much, much more! At 11:00 am attendees will be entertained with a glamorous fashion show where they will see how to put together an outfit for pennies on the dollar. A gourmet lunch provided by Sweet Beets Catering will follow in the main ballroom that will be beautifully decorated with vibrant pink and orange. After lunch the show begins with guest speaker, Kelly Swanson, an inspiring comedian and motivational speaker.

After a short break, special guest speaker, Faye Parker (Clay Aiken’s mother) will speak on behalf of The Bubel/Aiken Foundation where she will discuss how to help bridge the gap that exist between young people with special needs and the world around them. Magnolia Affairs team will end the day with a special recognition and award for the Administrative Professional of the Year along with other door prizes.
