Elemental Security, Inc., an award-winning pioneer of new technology in enterprise information security, today announced that the Elemental Security Platform (ESP) v2.0 has earned a prestigious “Excellent” Rating award from InfoWorld Media Group, responsible for delivering award-winning technology and product news, research and analysis to the IT community for more than 25 years.
The InfoWorld Test Center provides in-depth technical analysis on key products, solutions, and technologies for sound buying decisions and business gain. As a result of its technical labs review, Elemental also received a 9.3 score out of a possible 10, the highest rating given to a product reviewed in the Test Center so far in 2006. According to InfoWorld, a rating of “Excellent” recognizes companies whose products are reviewed and receive a score of 8.7 or higher based on a list of criteria most relevant to enterprise buying decisions. Receiving an “Excellent” Rating assures IT professionals of a product’s quality and market readiness before they make a purchase.
According to InfoWorld, “System admins used to only dream about knowing exactly which devices were on their network and controlling what resources those devices were accessing.
