The TVS Television Network has launched a full time ad supported IPTV Western Channel featuring hundreds of the greatest western TV shows and movies ever produced. TVS was founded in 1961 by Eddie Einhorn and is the fourth oldest commercial TV network in the USA. The Channel is called TVS Western.Com.
Western TV shows currently seen on the five channel video on demand TVS Western.Com include 26 Men, Jim Bowie, Tate, Bat Masterson, Stoney Burke, Wide Country, Jim Bowie, Bonanza, Sugar Foot, Sheriff of Cochise, US Marshall, The Deputy, Cisco Kid, Judge Roy Bean, Cowboy G Men, Frontier Doctor, Gabby Hayes Show, Gunslinger, Trackdown, Tombstone Territory, MacKenzies Raiders, Shotgun Slade, The Rifleman, Wyatt Earp, and Fury.
Saturday morning TV favorites such as Wild Bill Hickok, Champion, Roy Rogers, Annie Oakley, Buffalo Bill, Jr., Kit Carson, Sky King, and Last of the Mohecins.
Even western based comedies such as Pistols and Pitticoats, Dustys Trail with Bob Denver, and Rango with Tim Conway are included.
"We have had such a good reaction to our Western shows on our classic TV channels that we decided to have a special western TV channel," explained Margate Entertainment CEO Charry Kennedy. Margate owns both TV4U.Com TV portal and TVS.
Western Movies include a wide array of Spaghetti Westerns, PRC Westerns, Monogram Westerns, Allied Artists Westerns, and Republic Westerns. Included are more than 20 John Wayne movies.
TVS Western.Com has started with 300 classic Western shows and will be adding another 500 shows in 2009.
