As a result, he will be responsible for the technology area of the Luxembourg-based cleantech company. Ulrich Hergesell previously worked in the area of drinking water purification for STRABAG Umweltanlagen GmbH, one of the leading companies in environmental facility construction. Based on his extensive technical know-how, Epuramat will be able to significantly strengthen its position with regard to the design of water treatment systems for the preparation of different water qualities.
Ulrich Hergesell graduated from Munich Technical University as a process engineer. Over the course of his 20-year career he has worked with many different types of technologies related to industrial wastewater treatments, ground water purification and drinking water purification as well as air purification. The native German gained extensive international experience as a project engineer as well as project and construction manager in technology for large projects by companies such as DYWIDAG International GmbH, Walter Bau AG and STRABAG. On the basis of his sound knowledge of planning, procurement, construction, installation, start-up and facility operation, Epuramat has been able to attract a manager with many years of experience and sound know-how in the area of process engineering. “In my position as Head of Operations I will be translating Epuramat’s strategic course into cost effective installations utilizing our breakthrough technology and further strengthen Epuramat’s role as an ambitious cleantech company”, says Ulrich Hergesell.
