INVISTA’s CORDURA® brand fabric is part of yet another award-winning outdoor product. Brazil’s edition of Go Outside magazine recently named the CURTLO Mountaineer pack, manufactured with CORDURA® fabric throughout the body, a ‘Best Equipment of the Year’ product in the backpack category.
The ‘Best Equipment of the Year’ awards are part of Go Outside’s 2008 Guide to Equipment. Seasoned outdoor enthusiasts chosen by the magazine used the selected gear in real life conditions. Their responses were scored on a one-to-10 scale that rates product materials, design and cost-benefit characteristics. Rodrigo Raineri, the mountain climber who reached the summit of Mount Everest in 2008, was the evaluator of Mountaineer 40 + 5L. The magazine included comments from Raineri about the pack’s excellent materials, and he expressed that the durability and weight make it a leading choice for reliability and comfort.
