Compuware Limited, the wholly owned UK subsidiary of Compuware Corporation (NASDAQ: CPWR), has today announced that psaexpert.com has selected Compuware’s leading IT Portfolio Management solution for professional services organisations, Changepoint PSA, to power psaexpert’s newly launched SaaS-based professional services automation service.
Compuware Changepoint PSA provides services organisations with automation software to improve efficiency and provide total visibility into operations, enabling the proactive management of financial and employee performance. Changepoint will provide the core functionality underpinning psaexpert’s web-based and hosted offering and was selected after an exhaustive evaluation of the software’s suitability. Commenting on the selection process psaexperts’s Product Manager Matt Lowman said “Changepoint provides us with the ability to provide an enterprise class solution for organisations with as few as five users incorporating features and functionality typically only available in far more expensive offerings.”
psaexpert will look primarily to deliver the solution to small and medium sized enterprises of between 5 and 150 users looking for a more robust and functional solution to the challenges of managing a professional services team. Lowman added that “anyone managing a fee-earning professional services team of any size and any discipline will find that the solution quickly and efficiently automates and simplifies the management overheads of resource and time management, skills management and billing management.”

Both Compuware and psaexpert stressed that the enterprise class credentials of the solution will not make it overly complex for small companies and psaexpert claim that with their SaaS-based service the solution can be up and delivering value in just a matter of days.
