CIG Media Group, medical publisher of seven peer-reviewed, tumor-specific clinical oncology journals, is participating in the 2009 Gateway to China program through Swets and CEPIEC (China Educational Publications Import & Export Corporation). The China Road Shows program is a unique exhibition with the purpose of promoting journals and electronic resources from global publishers to Chinese end users. All seven of CIG Media Group’s journals will be on display during the China Road Shows program, offering online trial access to participating institutions. The China Road Shows program will appear at the locations and dates:
• NLC, National Library of China , Beijing – March 18– 21
• Shanxi University, Taiyuan – March 25– 28
• Chongqing University, Chongqing – April 1– 4
• Zhejiang University, Hangzhou – April 8– 11
“Participation in the China Road Shows is a key activity in furthering our goal of increasing exposure and readership for our clinical oncology journals throughout China,” says Bill Hipple, Business Development Representative at CIG Media Group.
Fifty-eight universities and research institutions, including the Library of the Chinese Academy of Medical Science, Peking University Health Science Library, and Capital Medical University Library, will have free online trial access to the journals from March 10th through June 10th, 2009.

The China Road Shows is a series of exhibitions intended to bring high quality researched content from international academic publishers to university professors and researchers in various Chinese cities. The Swets and CEPIEC Road Shows are the first ever journal exhibitions in China.
