Conveyant Systems, Inc., the telecommunications industry leading supplier of PC-based Attendant Console applications, has introduced an E-911 applications package for the higher education market to help maximize 9-1-1 call management.

Tim Kenyon, President of Conveyant Systems, stated, "The addition of our suite of E-911 products and services is a natural fit for Conveyant. Our history of providing quick access to up-to-date directory information, coupled with our extensive telecommunications knowledge help position us to understand our customer's needs when it comes to managing their 911 calls."

Kenyon added, "The campus environment offers unique challenges when it comes to locating a 911 caller. In addition, FCC legislation, along with state mandated Enhanced 911 policies, make it essential for universities to have secure, automated and cost effective solutions to ensure compliance."

"Conveyant Systems has partnered with the top developers of E-911 services and solutions to provide the higher education market with the tools required to protect their students, faculty and staff," stated Robert Durbrow, Conveyant's Director of Sales and Channel Development. Durbrow added, "These solutions have been tightly integrated with the rest of the Conveyant products to provide fully integrated solutions for both traditional TDM phones and VoIP – even down to the PEAP (Private Emergency Answering Point) call taker positions using TeleDirectory's PEAP Console."

"From on-site notification with exact location information to VoIP phone tracking and discovery along with ANI/ALI database management and mass notification, our customers can rely on Conveyant Systems to assist them during any emergency or notification event ," said Kenyon.
