Building on the success of the previous two film release projects 'The Plague' and 'Kapital' (a Manchester International Festival commission). London based design agency Overthrow Productions are once again to set to create the branding and advertising campaign for award winning director Greg Hall's new feature film - S.S.D.D (Same Sh*t Different Day).

Continuing his guerilla streak of filmmaking, the project was shot in three weeks during January on a part written and part improvised script, with a tiny crew and a handful of actors from his previous productions.

The film has been shot on a micro budget of under £10K, working in a co-op style production completely free from the usual financial and creative constrains of the film industry and it is set for release independently later in the year. The production will capitalise on recent developments in online distribution methods and the low cost of short run productions with the overall film being owned, marketed, distributed and sold by the people who created it.

Overthrow Productions will embrace this philosophy and provide not only a exciting and visually stunning brand, film poster and DVD but also high impact low cost advertising campaign utilising on and off-line media. From viral campaigns, online press releases and PPC to flyers, stickers, free press, PR stunts and ambient advertising this is set to be a great campaign. To start interest in the film early and give people a real insight into his film making process Greg has also been keeping a video diary and documenting the entire process on his blog spot.
