Altia is proud to announce our partnership with ARM to demonstrate Altia graphics code generation technology at the ARM booth at the Embedded World conference in Nuremburg, Germany from March 3-5, 2009.
ARM showcases the power and extensibility of their ubiquitous chip solutions with a rich graphical user interface (GUI) created with Altia Design. Altia’s DeepScreen software imported the GUI and generated graphics code for the system – a Fujitsu graphics system-on-chip (SoC) with an ARM926E™.
The resulting HMI, which features a sophisticated automotive dashboard, highlights the powerful combination of ARM IP and the Altia tool chain.
Altia, Inc. (altia.com) is a software company that provides user interface design and development tools that can be used from concept to final product code. Altia was founded in 1991 and its customers include GM, Ford, Chrysler, Honda, Toyota, Guidant, Lockheed Martin and hundreds of other leading manufacturers.
The Altia tool chain includes four software products. Altia Design allows users to create a custom working user interfaces that can be integrated with their underlying application and embedded onto their product. Behavior can be shared and tested and quickly modified, saving time and development cost. FlowProto turns Microsoft Visio flowcharts into working user interfaces. PhotoProto is an Adobe Photoshop add-on that turns graphics into working user-driven interfaces. DeepScreen Graphics Code Generator takes that custom user interface and converts it to deployable graphics code. Altia also offers Engineering Services include graphics design, usability testing, integration and porting services. For more information about Altia, contact Altia’s corporate headquarters.
