Ntractive, the company that created Elements SBM, the cloud computing Mac CRM solution designed for small to medium sized businesses, is pleased to announce that Barkwheats of Stockton Springs, Maine is using Elements SBM as its CRM and business management application.
Chris Roberts, co-owner of Barkwheats began using Elements SBM in November 2008. Before selecting Elements SBM, Roberts used more than 15 different CRM solutions, none of which had the efficiency, work flow and focus on fostering customer relationships that Elements SBM offered. "My biggest challenge was finding software with a logical work flow. From the start, we could see that Elements SBM fit the bill," remarked Roberts.
Barkwheats creates, produces and markets grain-free dog biscuits using ingredients locally produced in Northern New England. Not only does the company work to help sustain small scale farming, they also offer a treat to dogs that is holistic in nature and beneficial to both the dog and the Earth. Over the past year, the company is grown very rapidly. Today Barkwheats' products are featured in numerous retail outlets throughout the United States. The company has also picked up a great deal of media attention from national magazines and local radio and television.
Before finding Elements SBM, Barkwheats used MarketCirlce's Daylite and an accounting package along with a Apple's Mail, iCal and Address Book. "The more pieces to the puzzle, the greater the chances are for something to go wrong," said Roberts. The company needed a complete CRM solution. Today, Barkwheats uses Elements SBM to manage its inventory and customer records. It also creates receipts and processes credit cards using the system.
In the near future, Barkwheats plans to reach 400 retail outlets nationwide. The company also plans to expand its operations to different areas of the country, with each location sourcing ingredients and distributing the products regionally.
