Naizak, a leading systems integrator and Riverbed’s value added distributor (VAD) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, today announced that it is hosting the annual MENA Riverbed partner conference on the 17th February 2009 at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Dubai. The event, which is being jointly organised by Naizak and Riverbed Technology - the leader in Wide Area Data Services (WDS), will cover the company’s solution roadmap as well as help resellers identify new market opportunities in the face of the current economic slowdown. Naizak will also honour the best performing channel partners with awards to recognise their contribution to Riverbed’s regional growth and success in 2008.

The MENA partner conference will be attended by Riverbed’s existing resellers in the region and new companies that are looking to join the partner network. The event will showcase new products from Riverbed that have won industry accolades. Riverbed's award-winning Steelhead WDS appliances address all of the issues that affect application performance over the WAN, dramatically improving the performance of applications that companies and knowledge workers rely on every day - including file sharing, email, backup, document management systems, IT tools, as well as ERP and CRM solutions. With Riverbed, any of these applications can be accelerated somewhere between 5 and 50, and even up to 100 times faster. Solutions from Riverbed are deployed in various key verticals inclusive of Oil and Gas, Health, Government, Defence, Aviation, Construction and Finance.
