Endeavor Security today announced its Channel Partner program would expand from OEM partners to include Managed Service Providers and Systems Integrators. The FirstLight Early Warning System (EWS) and Automatic Signature Generation (ASG) subscription services are designed to enhance the existing security architecture of enterprise networks, by providing situation awareness and fast, accurate signature updates to security devices.

Technology Overview
FirstLight Patent Pending algorithms learn applications and protocols while searching for malicious content. After the FirstLight EWS categorizes the attack, it automatically generates a pattern match for that new attack for analyst review. The resulting rule or signature can be used by existing Intrusion Prevention systems, to enhance the network infrastructure security. The FirstLight ASG system has produced a superior knowledgebase that is not tied to a single vendor.
FirstLight ASG produces IPS signatures in XML format and can convert into multiple formats, including Snort, for use in IPS devices, such as Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR), Internet Security Systems (Nasdaq: ISSX) and Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC).
