One third of ESC Rennes’ students are non-French, and they come from 42 countries. ESC Rennes is part of the French network of Grandes Ecoles, which constitutes the elite of French academic institutions.
ESC Rennes Business School is located in Rennes, in the heart of Brittany (western France). The eight Masters are in International Business, International Accounting, International Business Negotiation, International Finance, International Human-Resources Management, International Marketing, Services Marketing & Management and, finally, Sports, Leisure & Tourism Management. All courses last 18 months, including a six-month internship in a company.
Frequent contributions from guest speakers in the field as well as the professional internship enrich the learning experience. French language lessons are also included in the programme, further strengthening the non-French students’ skills.
The multicultural nature of the ESC Rennes School of Business provides students with numerous advantages, facilitating their entry into the world of work and business, which is increasingly international in scope. ESC Rennes courses are primarily taught by English native speakers (80%) – a level that is unmatched elsewhere in Continental Europe.
The ESC Rennes School of Business is certified by the European Foundation for Management Development (EPAS label – Grande Ecole Programme), Britain’s Open University and the French Ministry for Further Education. The school has developed a partnership network with 140 international universities, including institutions in Brazil, Canada, China, India and Mexico.
There are three research centres in the school – the Centre for Responsible Business, the Centre for the Management of Luxury Goods & Services, and the Centre for Technology Management – which further enhance the teaching provided in the programmes.
