Alphalogix, an IBM Premiere Business Partner and Independent Solution Vendor today announced that they are finalists for this year’s Lotus Award in the Lotus Energy and Environment category for the 16th annual IBM Lotus Awards.

Alphalogix was selected from a group of top IBM Business Partners from over 30 countries. The Lotus Energy and Environment Award recognize solutions that are designed to enable customers to increase operational efficiency, employee productivity, and business profitability while reducing the customers' carbon foot prints.

This year, Alphalogix’s Electronic Forms Routing Solution comprised of IBM Lotus Forms and Alphalogix’s Tasica Forms Director and Tasica Dynamic Reports. The solution was noted for its ability to reduce the amount of paper, paper waste and costs as well as help in the regulation of one Southern California construction company’s environmental emissions.

“We are very privileged to be accepted along side IBM’s top business partners for our solution’s integration with IBM Lotus Forms and its environmental impact,” said Bob McCandless, CEO of Alphalogix. “Many businesses today are becoming environmentally conscious, looking for new ways to reduce their carbon footprint and still operate successfully. IBM Lotus Forms and our integrated workflow solution is a powerful way to accomplish this goal and we are thrilled to have IBM once again recognize our efforts.”

In 2008 and 2004, Alphalogix was given Lotus Awards in the Best Portal category. This year marks Alphalogix’s second award for a solution that includes the Tasica brand of electronic workflow. Alphalogix will be on-site at this year’s Lotusphere demonstrating Tasica Forms Director and its integration with IBM Lotus Forms and IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1.
