About citypixel.com, LLC
Citypixel.com blends isometric pixel art with social networking elements to create a unique and enjoyable online community. The initial 3D city, PixelYork, is modeled after NYC, and allows users to navigate the city, enter buildings, which range from store fronts and coffee houses to night clubs and offices, rent/customize free virtual spaces, initially apartments and office cubes, that can be shared with friends. Custom buildings can be commissioned, and the city provides a platform for displaying advertisements as billboards, on both buildings and vehicles, which are self managed by advertisers, and linked to their websites. Future plans include additional features to the current city model, as well as city and language expansion, and interconnection to global cities, like Tokyo and London.
