York, North Yorkshire, United Kingdom, 2008/12/19 - Digital marketing agency Swamp has been appointed by GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSK) to work on its oral care brand MACLEANS.
Swamp will be creating a website for MACLEANS that will support the brand’s new above the line campaign. The campaign evokes the romantic feeling of timeless glamour through reference to cinema, encouraging the audience to increase their social confidence. The campaign incites people to buy into the MACLEANS range and ‘be ready for romance’, with the newfound confidence in their mouths.
In the initial phase of the site, visitors will be able to view the entire MACLEANS product range as well as watch the new 60 second TV commercial.
Miranda Honan, Brand Manager for MACLEANS at GSK said, “We intend the new campaign to drive customer loyalty by bringing MACLEANS back to its roots in social confidence and re-engaging emotionally with our customers. Using MACLEANS helps you to be ready for romance! GSK has worked with Swamp on a number of digital projects so we’re confident of a successful campaign.”
Claire Wood, Group Account Director at Swamp commented, “MACLEANS is a very well known and popular brand and we can’t wait to create a new online home for it. Swamp has a great history of creating high profile digital work for FMCG brands and we’ve also worked extensively with GSK over the past few years. We believe that this combination will ensure we produce great things online for MACLEANS”.
The new MACLEANS website will go live to coincide with the new advertising campaign at the end of December.
