The San Diego Luxury Pawn Shop Report has announced the publication of its Christmas edition online. Launched in October, the San Diego e-magazine features articles, guides, and news of interest to budget conscious shoppers of fine jewelry, watches, gold coins, silver flatware, and other precious items that often find their way into San Diego pawn shops.
The new Christmas edition focuses its attention on holiday auctions where gift buyers can find great deals on everything from used Rolex and Tiffany jewelry to coin collections, silver bars, and luxury electronics. “We know how difficult these current economic times are for people,” says Alan Blyler, managing editor of the San Diego Luxury Pawn Shop Report, “so we wanted to alert people to some great auctions, where they can hopefully stretch their holiday dollars.”
Auctions conducted by State officials are among those featured in the new online issue of the Report, as well as several auction websites that may be unknown to consumers. One online auction site reported on is PropertyRoom.com, which was founded by a former New York police detective. At this site, shoppers can bid on a bonanza of fenced goods, including gold jewelry, high brand watches, mountain bikes, famous art work, designer handbags, and more.
“We always like to mention those auctions where the proceeds go to a good cause,” says Blyler. “And in this case, profits are funneled back into the police departments that are putting up the goods for auction.
