The Law Offices of James Sokolove (LOJS), dedicated to providing equal access to the civil justice system, today announced the appointment of a seasoned business development executive to its senior management team. As vice president, Marc Stern will assume key responsibilities in creating and maintaining the consultative relationships characteristic of the LOJS’ affiliations with its co-counsel firms.
“Driving ROI for our co-counsel in the complex world of legal marketing is our sole priority,” said Michael Skoler, chief executive officer of LOJS. “Marc’s experience and leadership in consultatively selling marketing solutions is a huge plus for us and our affiliates.”
The LOJS offering has been built over 30 years to provide speed, flexibility and effectiveness, from R&D to marketing to case signup. In his role, Mr. Stern will help expand the LOJS co-counsel network and match their needs with LOJS solutions.

Marc Stern has extensive experience in developing, leading and executing business-to-business sales strategies for services, products and new company divisions. Most recently, Mr. Stern founded the Partner Development Group, LLC, a provider of outsourced business development across industries. Prior to that, in a returning role at The Kessler Group in Boston, he was a senior vice president managing business development activities on behalf of established brands, such as Bank of America and HSBC and Kessler Direct a start-up division providing direct marketing solutions. Previously, he led sales strategy and direct sales at Aliaswire, Inc. in Cambridge and worked for Fidelity Investments in a variety of business development and strategic marketing capacities. Mr. Stern holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Hartford and an MBA from Boston University.
