CODA Group, the finance software specialist, today announced that it has completed a successful beta programme for CODA 2go, and from today has made available a free 30 day online trial and demo.
CODA 2go is the first international SaaS accounting system developed on salesforce.com’s Force.com platform. The service is integrated with Salesforce CRM applications and runs on salesforce.com’s trusted global service infrastructure.
Since its launch at Dreamforce Europe in May, development of CODA 2go has continued and CODA has undertaken a successful beta programme, which has seen several companies from the UK and US implement and test the order to cash module. Companies trialling the software included salesforce.com customers CyberSafe, Model Metrics, SaaSpoint and Xenogenix.
“We have been impressed with the CODA 2go service and plan to extend our use of the different functions available over the coming months,” said Tim Alsop, Technical Director at CyberSafe. “With direct communication with the CODA 2go development team, we believe being part of the early adoption programme has put us at a significant advantage. Integration between CODA 2go and Salesforce CRM is seamless and the look and feel is the same, so users feel they are working within one system. It delivers accounting functionality that we have been crying out for and closes a loop between sales and finance. CODA’s pedigree in developing finance systems is very apparent.”
The first CODA 2go release delivers Opportunity to Cash functionality, enabling users to go from their “opportunities” in Salesforce CRM to create an invoice at the click of a button and post the transaction to their sales ledger. It is fully integrated with Salesforce CRM and will help companies manage business processes by providing simple access for authorised users from initial sales enquiry, to closing the deal, to collecting cash within one integrated product.
The CODA 2go service is available via salesforce.com’s Force.com AppExchange, a Web marketplace for SaaS applications. CODA provides complete helpdesk support for all trial users and any requests for assistance can be made directly from the application. The trial is delivered with a pre-populated set of data and comprehensive award winning online help and supporting documentation to help customers get up and running quickly and familiarise themselves with the capabilities of CODA 2go. Templates and detailed guidance are also provided to support a smooth implementation when customers are ready to move CODA 2go into their production environment.
CODA 2go is available via a monthly subscription model. Initial pricing for a full subscription begins at £70.00 per user per month with other pricing options available for alternative feature packs. For the first six months, customers that sign up to release one of the CODA 2go service, will receive a free upgrade to release two when it becomes available, including full general ledger and accounts payable functionality.
A new dedicated CODA 2go website also launches today at coda2go.com
