Eclectic international culture invades the Queen City with Charlotte’s first ever Urban Street Soccer Fest on December 13, 2008 at Eastland Mall on the city’s east side. Concrete2Green, (C2G) along with Street Soccer USA, a 501[c]3 organization, will host this celebration of the world’s game by providing an afternoon full of community, culture and creative expression. This event will feature a soccer clinic, street soccer 4 vs. 4 matches, freestyle exhibitions, live art, music and prizes.

C2G’s last event was held in Washington, DC as a part of the USA Homeless Cup which was a tremendous success. Proceeds of the Urban Street Soccer Fest will go towards assisting with Street Soccer USA’s local programming efforts.
