Atlanta, GA, United States, 12/04/2008 - Daysahead, a band whose eclectic music style has been described as jazz-n-roll, has inked a deal with WACBIZ to license songs from their CD "Turning Point " to various media companies.

On Dec, 1st Daysahead, an edgy soul, rock-jazz band, has signed a nonexclusive license agreement with WACBIZ (Writer’s & Artist’s Cooperative) for music included on their critically-acclaimed debut CD "Turning Point " as well as other original compositions by the group. WACBIZ represents and licenses the catalogues of professional acts to film, advertising, Internet and television companies.
Founded by Steve Wright and Kim Leachman, Daysahead is based in Atlanta, and recently concluded a tour that included performances in Washington, D.C. and New York. “WACBIZ is a strong supporter of independent artists and we are pleased to join their roster of artists,” said Wright.
“This is a great opportunity that will allow us to expose our music to a large, diverse audience and tap into creative projects for television, film and other areas,” added Leachman.
WACBIZ hosts more than 10,000 mastered songs in various genres. “Steve Wright’s production ability as well as his musicianship is stellar and Kim Leachman’s vocal talent is soulful and distinctive,” said Suzanne Hilleary, founder and president of WACBIZ. “We work with amazingly talented artists from Sinead O’Connor to Joe Jackson and musicians from David Bowie’s band to Tom Petty’s band and we believe Daysahead is every bit as talented.
