Phoenix, AZ, United States, 11/26/2008 - HighRely's RelyTrace requirements management product has added DO-254 support for complete avionics hardware and traceability management, enabling DO254 compliance.

HighRely’s RelyTRACE has been updated to now provide support for both software and hardware traceability via DO-178 and DO-254 respectively. DO178B, DO178C, and DO254 requirement traceability is required for avionics certification of software and hardware. DO-254 traceability can be partially satisfied by using DOORS, however, DO-254 requires the ability to specify top to bottom and bottom to top traceability for avionics hardware requirements, design, implementation (logic) and hardware tests, and back.
RelyTRACE supports DO-254 by providing an out-of-the-box package which operates on any PC or Server and manages avionics hardware requirements. A wide variety of hardware requirements tagging schema are supported, as is the ability to customize RelyTRACE to virtually any tagging schema. DO-254’s archival record requirements and configuration index needs are readily met by HighRely’s RelyTRACE.
