Charlotte, NC, United States, 11/21/2008 - LA East Boutique brings to the Charlotte area the latest Hollywood fashions in the ultimate red carpet experience in the latest Fashion Friday event, introducing the fashion scene to a whole new dimension.

The Charlotte fashion scene will transcend to a new level of excellence when East Coast meets West Coast at the largest Fashion Friday to date. Hosted by LA East Boutique, the event will be held at KISS Ultra Lounge on Friday, November 21, 2008 and will combine all aspects to recreate a true Hollywood red carpet event. Guests will not just attend the event, but be part of it, as they walk the red carpet, navigate the paparazzi and park among the display of exotic cars and motorcycles.
LA East Boutique brings the hottest trends of West Hollywood to the East Coast, showcasing designers such as Ed Hardy, Christian Audigier, and Dirtee Hollywood. Models will be showing off latest designer fashions throughout the night. To accompany the runway show, the event will also include incredible music by MAPP Records DJ and Producer Badala B, a special performance by rock group Redwood and massive giveaways of designer merchandise worth thousands of dollars. Additional Fashion Friday sponsors include Charlotte Style Magazine, The Escape, The Entertainment, Foreign Cars Italia, Salon 160, Klazzy Magazine, NUVO Sparkling Liqueur, Mad Dog Custom Cycles, and more. TV Host and Creative Loafing columnist Brittney Cason and Power 98 Radio Personality Consuella will co-host the fabulous night of fashion.
This event is one, and the largest yet, amongst a series of Fashion Fridays, which consists of quarterly networking mixers hosted by select area boutiques and independent designers. Fashion Friday is an eclectic, exclusive and electric display of myriad fashion styles, trends and news from all across the globe.
This event is about more than bringing key players and influential people together. It is about giving artists the opportunity to showcase their complete talents and abilities. Overall, this event will tremendously help to catapult the fashion industry in the Charlotte area to its next level of exposure and success.
Ten percent of the proceeds will go to Dress for Success Charlotte, a charity designed to help disadvantaged women make the transition to self-sufficiency by providing the essential items needed, including professional attire, a network of support and career development tools.
Doors open at 9:00 pm., with the event running until 2:00 am. The venue is KISS Ultra Lounge and is located at 204 W. Woodlawn Rd. Tickets for Fashion Friday can either be purchased at the door for $10 before 10:00 pm. and $15 after, or in advance at eventbrite.com. VIP admission is available.
