Aladdin Knowledge Systems (NASDAQ: ALDN), today announced the release of Aladdin eSafe Version 7.0 that offers organizations new levels of management, protection and productivity.
eSafe Secure Web Gateway provides real-time, intelligent security solutions for organizations seeking to protect information assets, enforce acceptable use policy and maximize productivity. eSafe delivers complete protection against the dynamic threats of malware, Trojans, viruses, spam and spyware, with the wire-speed performance required for total transparency. With the release of Version 7.0, eSafe provides centralized management, role-based administration, and policy control options that streamline integration, increase visibility and enhanced productivity:
• Unified management capabilities now enable centralized viewing and monitoring of multiple machines, and simplified deployment of eSafe configurations across the enterprise.
• Robust role-based administrative capabilities such as hierarchical, customized views and more granular control of policies, applications and users help organizations enforce policy and comply with regulations by controlling access and privileges.
• The addition of VMWare support provides enterprises the option of easily integrating and deploying eSafe in distributed or remote environments.
Further enhancements to eSafe Version 7.0 include granular control over Web-enabled applications and policy with eSafe AppliFilter™, which now enables enforcement of policy and control of applications by user, group, computer, and VLAN without the need for resolving IP in advance. Improved control has also been added for high bandwidth applications of streaming video and audio.
