International Time Recorder, Inc. (ITR), premier provider of workforce management systems, today released the latest version of its flagship software application, TimeZone™.
TimeZone 9 introduces significant enhancements to assist organizations in managing all aspects of workforce management, including time and attendance, scheduling, accruals, job and labor allocation, extensive HR functionality and in-depth labor reporting.
Now included in the version 9 release is the TimeZone Professional module, specifically tailored to meet the needs of web-connected organizations. Featuring full-function online Employee Self Service with Timesheets and WebPunch, TimeZone Professional enables employees to check schedules, enter elapsed time worked, track expenses per project or job, update personal information, monitor accruals balances, communicate with supervisors and management online, and sign in and out electronically – all from any web browser, 24/7.
“TimeZone 9 truly empowers employees to manage their day-to-day time and labor activities, which removes a tremendous burden from the human resources department. By providing employees with online access to areas such as TimeZone’s Timesheet, Employee Profile, Accruals and Scheduler, our customers can improve payroll accuracy and simplify the administration of HR tasks,” said ITR CEO, Tracy Parzych.
“We are excited about offering these valuable enhancements to our product suite and are confident that they will give our customers greater flexibility and improved efficiencies in managing both their onsite and remote employees.”
Other significant features of the version 9 release are of particular benefit to specific industry segments, such as Healthcare and Manufacturing. These include an enhanced Job Scheduler with automatic bumping and schedule conflict resolution. With this improvement, TimeZone can automatically find qualified, available employees to fill open positions in a schedule and alert the manager or supervisor to scheduling conflicts for quick and easy resolution. In addition, a plethora of report templates is included with TimeZone, such as a Schedule Posting report with labor allocation and several new Job Costing reports, providing greater visibility of key data throughout the organization.
TimeZone 9 conveniently delivers its features via a web browser, cutting costs by enabling deployment of the application from a single web server to hundreds or thousands of users in multiple facilities.
