Newbury, Berkshire, United Kingdom, 2008/11/07 - Cabletime, a leading developer and manufacturer of MediaStar, the industry-leading TV, AV and digital signage distribution systems over the LAN / WAN infrastructure, has ended its 2008 fiscal year, ending 30th September, on a high note.
The success of its 2008 fiscal year follows a successful 2007 showing record growth and highest ever profits.
The Company has also recently seen strong increased growth in its American and Middle East markets, and continues to announce new products such as Drag and Drop control and scheduling software, used with its MediaStar Evolution range of digital signage and multimedia players. Said Paul Reeves, Sales and Marketing Director: “This solution is a fantastic enhancement to the MediaStar EvoNet streaming video decoder and multimedia player, handing over a greater degree of control and allowing the user to manage any content with ease and precision.”
Cabletime saw record growth in 2007 with the launch of its digital video broadcast LAN-Caster products for delivery of terrestrial and satellite video, and 2008 followed this trend with successful deployments including the University of Essex, the American School in Doha, as well as the addition of Australian distributor, Hills Antenna & TV Systems, part of the well known Hills Industries, a leading supplier in Australia and New Zealand of a wide range of television reception and distribution equipment. The Cabletime line-up of products will join a portfolio ranging from TV antennas, satellite dishes, headend equipment, cables and connectors.
While the economic climate is making for difficult conditions in the market, FY 2008 saw significant growth in a wide range of new vertical markets, allowing Cabletime to be well-poised to weather the storm with a strong balance sheet comprising no debt and significant reserves. Said Nick Bradford, Managing Director, “Cabletime is a leading player in the TV, AV, and digital signage over IP/Cat-5/6 marketplace, our installation at 250 Hutchinson’s retail ‘3 Stores’ (ThreeStores) recently finishing as a finalist for the prestigious AV Magazine’s Digital Signage Project of the Year awards. We have 25+ years of experience in this market, with numerous blue chip deployments. However, this doesn’t mean we can sit back and relax, and we are greatly anticipating ISE 2009 where we will launch a new HD product range to meet the demands of a new generation of customers.”
Cabletime will be at ISE09 in Amsterdam 3-5 February, stand #F94.
