It is a new business activity consisting on prospecting large industrial and agricultural roofs in southern France mainly in Aquitaine, Midi Pyrénées, Languedoc Roussillon, Rhône Alpes and Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur (PACA).
The firm identifies large roofs with a minimum size of 1 000 m² in order to install Building Integrated PhotoVoltaics (BIPV) systems with a business partner based in Montpellier.
Valmere Capital would like to continue promoting solar energy in France by taking a leadership operational role in the detection of new roofing opportunities. The firm would like to allow the building owners to obtain the optimum proposal to make the most responsible decision from an environmental and profitability perspective. The power produced, if the project is carried out, will be sold to Electricité De France (EDF) in the framework of a 20 year contract indexed on the feed-in tariffs as it is defined by the French regulation.
