Elite Junior Golf Tournament Set for Duke University Golf Course in North Carolina

Durham, NC, United States, 11/06/2008 - A Nationally Ranked Junior Golf Tournament to be Held at Duke University for Aspiring Future Collegiate Golfers in North Carolina Surrounding States has been announced for January 24-25, 2009 by the Tarheel Jr. Golf Tour.
The Tarheel Junior Golf Tour has announced that its 2009 season will open January 24-25, 2009 at The Wshington Duke Inn and Golf Course at Duke University. This junior golf tournament is open to players that have not yet graduated from high school. The event is part of the Tarheel Golf Foundation's Elite series of North Carolina Junior Golf Tournaments for boys and girls that are interested in playing collegiate golf. The tour runs from January - December and hosts 15 nationally ranked tournaments that are open to junior golfers that have not yet reached the age of 18, or have not yet graduated from high school. The tour is open to US and International players.

The Duke University Golf Course is situated on the campus of Due University in Durham, NC and is one of the nation's leading college golf courses. The Tarheel Junior Tour is designed to provide nationally ranked junior golf tournaments to boys and girls in North Carolina. The tour is operated by the Tarheel Golf Foundation, Inc.
