Leadership Through Innovation – The DataGuise Difference
Leading industry analysts and corporations understand the challenges of creating ideal test environments as organizations seek production-like scale and complexity when creating and managing internal software development processes. Since its inception, DataGuise has demonstrated technology excellence and product leadership with data masking products that outperform alternatives with simple yet comprehensive solutions. In 2007, DataGuise changed the data masking landscape with its ground-breaking portfolio of products, including dgDiscover™, dgMasker™, dgGuard™ and dgOffice™ which provided the industry’s most complete data masking and management suite. These and other product success milestones are the result of DataGuise leading through continuous innovation to ensure secure and compliant production and non-production environments.
“Data security is a strategic concern within organizations where data breaches can have an impact on revenue, perception, profitability and the overall well-being of a company,” said Jarstrom. “Market demand for a new era of data masking solutions that support both structured and unstructured data is being driven by stringent compliance regulations surrounding the security of customer data. I am pleased to join the DataGuise team in addressing this demand as enterprises seek user-friendly solutions that meet these critical business requirements.”
Prior to joining DataGuise, Jarlstrom served at IBM, running worldwide services for IBM Optim which quickly became one of IBM’s fastest growing product lines. Before IBM, Erik was vice president of professional services for Princeton Softech, Inc., a high-growth company and leading provider of enterprise data management software eventually acquired by IBM. Earlier in his career, Erik held executive positions at Delegata, AristaSoft and Oracle Corporation, where he participated in the development of Oracle’s rapid implementation approach, FastForward*, leading to greater market awareness and growth. Jarlstrom earned his BA in Finance and Management from Copenhagen Business School.
“I am delighted to have Erik on board where his expertise and proven ability will move DataGuise forward in its mission to protect corporations from unauthorized data access and breach,” said Manmeet Singh, CEO of DataGuise. “He will play an integral role within the company to assist in the development and delivery of advanced data masking solutions for customers and partners, driving product innovation across our solution portfolio.”
