Time Warner Cable, the nation’s second largest cable television operator and provider of telecommunications services, today announced the League of American Communications Professionals has bestowed honors on the Buffalo Division for the production of it corporate video “Time Warner Cable-Home in Buffalo.” The video was designed to highlight the local nature and commitment of Time Warner Cable. It features local employees working in the call center, installing products in customer’s homes and donating time to Western New York charities.
“This year’s entry, ‘Time Warner Cable – Home in Buffalo,’ proves to be remarkable in light of tremendous competition,” said Christine Kennedy, LACP Managing Director. “Our belief is that the target audience will find the relevance to be superb, demonstrating the success of this project in connecting with the right people and delivering a highly applicable and persuasive message.”
The League of American Communications Professionals received more than 1,250 entries from 10 countries for the 2008 Spotlight Awards, making this year’s event the largest ever. In fact only one out of every five entries received award-level recognition. Time Warner Cable received 93 out of a maximum 99 points making its overall rank 196.
