The Economist Intelligence Unit's inaugural training course: Emerging Markets Risk Management is taking place on November 21st 2008, with a second course scheduled for February 24th 2009 in London.
Financial turbulence at home, coupled with expanding opportunities in new and challenging territories, has resulted in a greater need for the implementation of robust risk management systems. The Economist Intelligence Unit recognises the need for training in this area and as the leading global provider of business intelligence, is well-positioned to give risk professionals both risk management tools and the hands-on support required to use them.
The courses will offer in-depth analysis and intensive workshops on how to create a risk-intelligent business in challenging markets and are tailored to meet the needs of risk professionals in major corporations across a range of industries.
Taking place at the UK headquarters of the Economist Intelligence Unit these one-day courses will be facilitated by John Bowler, Director of the Economist Intelligence Unit's Country Risk Service and will enable risk professionals to stay at the forefront of their profession.
The Economist Intelligence Unit will be further developing its training programme in 2009.
