(Newswire Today) —  Henderson, NV, United States, 2008-10-20 - Ten time Team USA member David Haynes will headline the inaugural Corona Bowling Illustrated Challenge Cup, to be held at the Silver Nugget Casino Bowling Center in N Las Vegas on Wednesday, October 29th at 7pm. Five top bowlers will compete.

The Bowling Center at the Silver Nugget Casino in N Las Vegas, Nevada will be the site of the inaugural Corona Bowling Illustrated Challenge Cup on Wednesday, October 29th at 7pm.

Heading the field will be ten time Team USA champion David Haynes. Over the years, the Las Vegas native has established himself as one of the best bowlers in the world. He's won numerous international medals and many tournaments.
Now he gets to compete in his hometown.

"We are so excited to have David Haynes join the field, " said Silver Nugget Casino Bowling Director Eric Heflin. "He's simply an outstanding bowler who has won tournaments worldwide and he should make this show a very exciting one."

Joining Haynes in the field is Panamanian star Gregorio Daisley and LPBT bowler Adrianne Barella. The Silver Nugget Bowling Center is currently conducting qualifying for the fourth position, while the fifth position will be announced shortly.

The Corona Bowling Illustrated Challenge Cup will be televised from the Silver Nugget Casino Bowling Center by th TVS Television Network. TVS has long televised bowling including a decade of producing the LPBT Tour. TVS is now televising new episodes of classic bowling shows such as Make That Spare, Celebrity Bowling, Pinbusters, All Star Bowling, and LPBT Bowling as well as the monthly Challenge Cup series from the Silver Nugget Casino.

In the Corona Celebrity Bowling episode that will be taped prior to the Challenge Cup, Real TV host John Daly will take on famous Las Vegas magician Collin Foster for their favorite charity. Both Celebrity Bowling and Challenge Cup Bowling will be seen on TV4U.Com, the 42 channel video on demand free internet TV network.

As a part of their promotion, Corona Beer will be available to the fans for $1 a bottle at the Silver Nugget Bowling Center. There is free admission to the event.

The Silver Nugget Bowling Center is a 24 lane AMF facility offering both league play and open play seven days a week. The Center is equipped with a state-of-the-art scoring system, snack bar, air hockey tables, lockers and a fully equipped Pro Shop. In addition, there is an Arcade for the kids and a bar for the adults near by.
