The CFF Credential is granted to qualified CPAs with considerable professional experience in financial forensics.

The CFF Credential is a new certification that was approved by the AICPA Governing Council in May 2008. According to the AICPA, the designation was created in response to the rising demand for forensic accounting services, which is expected to continue as businesses increasingly seek out experts to help them with a broad range of issues such as economic damages, family law, fraud investigations and litigation.

The CFF Credential is granted exclusively to CPAs who are members in good standing of the AICPA which binds them to the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct.
