Music Business Consultant Jerry Lembo (President, Jerry Lembo Entertainment Group), advances his role as an Agent of Change in the evolving entertainment industry by attending several events this spring that focus on the many new and exciting opportunities available to musicians and those who support them.
Lembo joins fellow U.S. Music Management Forum (MMF) members on Saturday, March 18, for the “Revenue Streams Artists Should Know About” discussion at SXSW. MMF members Steven Scharf (Steven Scharf Entertainment), Stephen Bond Garvan (Garvan Management), and Alan Wolmark (CEC Management) will panel.
At ASCAP EXPO April 20-22, Lembo and fellow managers, music publishers, and record executives convene for the first and only national conference 100% dedicated to songwriting and composing. This event is custom designed for music creators and those that work with them. Lembo will represent the interests of his clients Byron Zanos, Nicole Russo, and Laura Bradley at the EXPO.
A&R Worldwide’s Mu[.]po 2006, the United Nations of Music and Media, takes place April 30 – May 3, with W.F. Leopold Management founder Bill Leopold participating in the high-profile digital media forum “Left To My Own Devices.” Lembo will attend in support of Bill, who retained the Jerry Lembo Entertainment Group for the radio promotion campaigns on recent releases from Melissa Etheridge, Low Millions, and Maroon 5.
Locally, Lembo’s recent guest appearance at Songsalive!.org’s inaugural New York City Seminar/Showcase at the legendary Bitter End nightclub was a huge success. "Jerry Lembo was very cool and informative,” raved Ragan Whiteside, a featured performer at the event. Noel Ramos, New York Chapter Coordinator, Songsalive! praised Lembo for leading “a very effective, yet also very comfortable seminar,” and thanked him for “sharing…the wealth of his vast experience” and “his valuable time” with the participants.
