Intuition, a leading provider of learning services to the financial markets, life sciences and government sector, today announced that it has partnered with edCetra Training to jointly market the ability to distribute learning content through mobile devices. The agreement will increase Intuition’s product awareness and provide it with greater penetration of the training and development industry.
Under the terms of the reseller agreement, the parties will participate in joint sales and marketing initiatives to expand the adoption of mobile learning technology. In combining edCetra Training’s processes and technology for single sourcing – a methodology for efficiently managing and distributing learning content based in XML – with the mobile technology created by Intuition, both organization’s will enhance the range of innovations currently offered to their client base.
Intuition’s mobile learning technology was developed to extend the reach of learning to the mobile workforce. The technology provides access to learning materials during naturally occurring down time, such as the daily commute or while traveling on business. The technology also tracks learners’ progress and records it directly to their organization’s learning management system.
“edCetra Training is excited to add mobile learning technology to our line of custom training design and development services. Not only will we be able to move content from web, to print, to mobile through a click of a button, but Intuition gives us the capability to push the content out and track it,” said Reuben Tozman, President, edCetra Training.

The companies have already begun joint marketing efforts and product development. Demonstrations of the technology solutions are currently available through Intuition, with the added capability of single sourcing available for demonstration in November 2008. Intuition’s mobile learning technology was recognized as a finalist at in the Innovation in the Private Sector category during a ceremony at the 2008 Wireless Enterprise Symposium in Orlando, Florida.
