Chase Inventory Services, one of South East England’s best-known and biggest inventory companies, announced today that its new web site is live. The company’s previous site has been active since 2001 and Chase MD, Laura Stewart, believes the new site is a more accurate reflection of the company today. She says, “Our client base is much larger now and an increasing number of them – whether private landlords, lettings agents, or councils – are looking to the web first when they make a choice about who they want to manage their inventories. The new site lets them get a great feel for what sort of company Chase is.”
The new site presents a more modern look for the company and incorporates a new logo and colour scheme which is already incorporated in the company’s latest stationery. But it’s not all about looks. Chase is very keen to make the web work for the company and its customers. A database sits behind the site and holds electronic copies (as pdf files) of all the inventories, check-ins, and check-outs Chase perform. This means that any clerk working on a Chase job has access to the latest documents. Stewart has plans to make this database available to clients, too. “We have the tools in place, so it makes sense to start providing client areas where they can have access to documents relating to their properties. There’s some work to be done but it shows our intent as far as continuing to improve customer service.”
Chase has teamed up with digital agency bpodr to create the new site and to establish stronger on-line brand awareness. Adam Austin, a partner at bpodr, says, “One of the exciting things about working with Chase is that, although they work in what is a very traditional sector, they’re committed to using the new tools and technologies of the web to find better opportunities and, ultimately, offer a better service to their clients.”
New ways of reaching customers and interacting more directly with them means the new web site will form part of a wider strategy, which will include a new blog for the company MD and a commitment to increase the frequency with which new content is added to the Chase site.
