When NAFA asked its Members whether or not they wanted the Association’s official publication to continue, the answer was a resounding yes. Yet, NAFA’s membership noted the publication needed a new look and a return to the Association’s primary role as a provider of fleet education. After several months of preparation, the first issue of NAFA’s new magazine – FLEETSolutions – is now available and receiving rave reviews from readers across North America and the fleet industry.
“Wow, what a nice kick-off for NAFA's new FLEETSolutions!” said Steven Anderson, NAFA Member. “Well written and very informative, keep up the great work.”
“After examining it carefully from front to back it gives me reason to pause and express a heartfelt thank you for a truly stunning first issue,” added J.J. Keig, CAFM, Director of Fleet Maintenance, Brink’s Inc.
“If anyone previously (mistakenly) thought our rebranding efforts were nothing more than talk, their brains will be getting whiplash when this hits them!” exclaimed NAFA Vice President, Randy Shadley, CAFM.
NAFA Fleet Management Association has long been well respected for its educational programs. The Association offers the most popular and significant fleet management certification, the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) program, and runs educational seminars throughout North America as well as at the annual Institute & Expo. The new publication provides informative articles dealing with the eight core disciplines of fleet management (Asset Management, Business Management, Financial Management, Fleet Information Management, Maintenance Management, Risk Management, Vehicle Fuel Management, and Professional Development). In changing the focus of FLEETSolutions, the publication offers the fleet professional a strong, valuable resource for educational content.
In addition to changing the editorial focus, NAFA has also significantly changed the look of the publication. FLEETSolutions has a bold, new contemporary look and an exciting new digital edition of the magazine – full of bells and whistles that make the online version fully interactive. The digital edition not only looks great, but it makes finding articles and information quick and easy.
A partnership with Naylor, Inc. has helped NAFA create the new FLEETSolutions magazine. NAFA provides the editorial content for each issue and Naylor provides the graphic design, printing, sales and marketing, and distribution. Naylor works exclusively within the association field and currently designs the official publications for over 500 associations. The company has offices located in Gainesville, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia; Fairfax, Virginia, and Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
FLEETSolutions is the official magazine of NAFA Fleet Management Association. The publication is printed bi-monthly and sent to all Members. Subscriptions are available for $48 per year (US) and $72 per year (Canada).
