BrightCom™, the performance leader in integrated conferencing solutions, announced today that their customer, First California Bank (“FCB”) is successfully utilizing BrightCom’s Visual Collaboration System in their daily operations. The integrated video and data sharing conferencing system is enhancing FCB’s communication and collaboration within and between upper management and their employees, while reducing the costs of corporate material dissemination and travel between their 12 bank branches in three Southern California counties.
First California Bank contacted BrightCom for a video and web conferencing solution that could reduce rising costs of interoffice travel and maintain effective communication between their expanding network of branches.
“Our senior management uses screen sharing and presentation sharing capabilities to present our financial standings and earnings to employees at several different bank locations,” said Sara Pelaez, Senior Vice President and CIO of First California Bank. “With VCS we are able to set up meetings quickly, and present information without the struggles of sending meeting materials out to all of the participating offices.”
Currently, FCB uses BrightCom’s video conferencing series, ClearView Conference Room and Desktop PC to hold weekly conferences for internal committee meetings in all of their locations. Participants connect from a variety of endpoints including personal desktops, and conference rooms from different locations to take part in the meetings.
“Being able to connect instantly to office branches across county lines greatly reduces the amount of traffic time and fuel costs for First California Bank employees,” stated Pelaez.
Recently, BrightCom released its newest integrated conferencing system, VCS 2.0 allowing businesses to present video, audio and data sharing capabilities from one unified architecture.
Pelaez continued, “As we continue to grow our operations, we plan to use VCS’ wide range of capabilities to our advantage, by incorporating it more into daily collaborations for department specific meetings as well as bank-wide communications.
